LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 4)–A pick-pocketing case and a reckless motorcyclists are two items highlighted by Lincoln Police in this week’s Crime Stoppers report.

Back on August 3, a woman reported she was shopping at the Super Saver near 27th and Pine Lake Road and when she looked away, a man bumped his cart into hers. When she went to pay for groceries, she noticed her wallet was missing. Surveillance video shows a man and another woman following the victim inside the store. They were in and out of the store within three minutes.

The suspects are described as a black male wearing a white Nike hat, white shirt, khaki shorts and a white mask. The other suspect is described by LPD as a black female with long dreads, wearing a blue shirt, shorts and a surgical mask. LPD forensics technician Becky Keller says the victim has received notifications that someone was trying to use her cards at Sam’s Club and Best Buy. Video surveillance showed two females attempting to charge over $6,000 worth of charges to the stolen credit cards. The female in blue appears to have tattoos on both her shoulders.

This may have been a traveling group, but someone may have seen them at a hotel or restaurant while in town.

In the other case from LPD, an officer on Sunday night saw a motorcyclist riding recklessly on his bike without any license plates or in-transit tags. Keller says the officer tried to stop the motorcyclist but he fled at a high-rate of speed on two separate occasions along “O” Street. Keller says the motorcyclist was riding a Black and White motorcycle, which may be a Yamaha bike. The rider is described as a white male with a light-tan hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, gray and white Nike shoes. He has a black helmet with a reflective visor and tattoos can be seen on his left forearm.
