Cocaine Among Drugs Seized During Monday Traffic Stop in Northwest Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 22)–A 31-year-old man from New Jersey is in jail, after a traffic stop early Monday afternoon in northwest Lincoln led to the discovery of illegal drugs.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says Cecil Marshall was pulled over on Interstate 80 by the Lincoln Airport for following too close. Chief Deputy Sheriff Ben Houchin tells KFOR News investigators from the Criminal Interdiction Unit could smell marijuana and found small pieces of it inside the SUV.
Investigators also found nearly 62 grams of powered cocaine and 145 grams of ecstasy pills. There was also approximately $800 cash on Marshall at the time. Marshall was arrested on several charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
