The results of Lancaster County Sheriff’s Click It or Ticket enforcement were released Thursday.

On May 22, 2019 the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office conducted a high visibility safety checkpoint on Highway 6 just west of 98h Street. 12 deputies checked vehicles for safety equipment violations and apparent traffic law violations.

414 vehicles were checked which resulted in 2 people getting arrested on outstanding warrants, 6 criminal citations, 20 official traffic citations, and 87 warning/defect cards being issued.

The enforcement was continued from Friday May 24th, thru Sunday June 2nd.

The result was a combined total of 623 vehicles contacted which resulted in 3 people getting arrested on outstanding warrants, 20 criminal arrests, 162 official traffic citations and 236 warning/defect cards being issued.
