Burglars Break Into North Lincoln Bowling Alley Early Wednesday
LINCOLN–(KFOR Dec. 18)–A north Lincoln bowling alley was targeted by burglars early Wednesday morning, which resulted in about $6,000 worth of damage.
Lincoln Police Public Information Manager Erika Thomas told reporters at media briefing that officers were called about a glass-break alarm at Hollywood Bowl, north of 48th and Vine around 4am. Officers found broken glass on the south end of the building, where security video showed two people throwing a sledgehammer that caused the glass to shatter.
Thomas says video also showed the suspects used the same sledgehammer to damage a gaming machine several times, causing about $5,000 in damage. Both suspects are described as a man and woman, both wearing dark coats, dark shoes, dark pants and gloves.
