So, as I’ve said before, all of the individual pieces of my tattoo sleeve are dedicated to the most significant family members in my life. So I’d like to explain this tattoo of sunflowers to you guys.

The sunflowers in my sleeve represent my younger sister, (sunflowers are her favorite flowers) and yesterday, June 2nd, was her 21st birthday!

I called her Saturday night just after midnight, right as her birthday began and asked her what she had been doing to celebrate, and she said that she’d been having some fun all day on Saturday and the fun was gonna continue on Sunday.

My sister is about four years younger than me, and honestly, we didn’t really have a lot in common or have things to talk to each other about until just a couple years ago because of the age gap. But now that she’s gotten a little older, we can always find something to chat about when I give her a call.

We have our annual family trip to Kansas City coming up in just a couple of weeks, which we’re all really excited for, and I thought it might be fun for me and my fiancee to stop in Manhattan on Friday before we head to Kansas City and hang out with her and her fiance. We’ll see what happens though, it’s all still up in the air.

But I wanted to take this time to wish my sister a happy birthday and I can’t wait to meet up with everyone in our family for our annual trip to Worlds of Fun and to see a Kansas City Royals baseball game!

Happy birthday Erin! Much love,

Brady \m/ (>.<) \m/
