Hey peeps! You want to know a little bit about me...here goes.
I've been a part of the Blaze family for 15 years. This was the job I wanted to do since I was in the 7th grade. I've gotten to see/meet some of my favorite bands in my 15 years (Alice In Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Sevendust just to name a few), which are definitely some of the biggest highlights of my career (seriously. Lajon Witherspoon from Sevendust thinks I'm a pretty lady. Insert squealing noise here). Being at the Blaze has also been great for me since I met my kickass husband thru the station. Last June I married EJ who helped start the station in 1992 and was here until 2004.
Let's see...other things about me. I'm a very proud Auntie of 3 nieces and 5 nephews. They range in age from 1 to 20, so I've got a big age range to spoil. They are all the greatest kids ever!! (I might be biased). I am a big sports fan. Huskers all the way of course! I love the Atlanta Braves (I was going to marry Chipper Jones when I was 14), The 1980's KC Royals (George Brett is the man!), and I try to follow as many former Huskers in the NFL as I can. Mostly Rex Burkhead and Ndomukong Suh. I am a huge ol' book nerd. If you ever have any book suggestions (or anything else you want to chat about) hit me up at email@example.com or on facebook.
I've been working with the guys over at Max Muscle for a couple years to help me with weight loss and nutrition. Everyone there is a Certified Nutritionist and can answer just about any question I throw at them. Give the guys at Max Muscle a call for your health and fitness questions at (402) 421-4MAX or stop by the store just south of 27th & Pine Lake Road.
